Jack was born in 1966, a product of New Orleans Louisiana. It was a city of music, art and vibrant life. The semi-tropical climate and diverse culture brought to life the scenes that young Jack saw in the comics, magazines and movies. Anything seemed possible to a boy roaming the streets of the colorful city.

Jack began drawing from his imagination as soon he could hold a pencil, often placing himself within the pictures. Times changed and the young man eventually left his home city, ending up in San Francisco in 1984. Education and art classes followed, but Jack never discarded his love of pop culture, fantasy and the imagination. During these years a love of figure drawing developed, as did a fascination with the technical aspects of drawing. After doing black and white illustration for several years, Jack began painting in 1996.

Jack is currently working on a new series of portrait and figure paintings, as well as a pen and ink illustrated story.
